«I’m fine» war der Titel einer Solo-Show von Norbert, dem Partner des Regisseurs und Performers Cezary Tomaszewski. In der Show voller Witz und Heiterkeit sprach er über sich, das Leben und Alltagsproblemchen. Der Titel wirkt unschuldig, bis man weiss, dass Norbert durch Suizid starb. So ist dieses «I’m fine» nun eine Hommage an Norbert, eine Verarbeitung seines Todes und ein Aufruf an das persönliche und das öffentliche Verantwortungsbewusstsein. Bei aller Enttabuisierung von psychischen Erkrankungen sterben immer noch mehr Leute durch Suizid als bei Verkehrsunfällen. 80% davon sind Männer. Auffallend oft betrifft es Künstler.
«I’m fine» ist aber auch ein Feiern von Norberts Leben und seiner künstlerischen Arbeit. Es ist der Versuch, weiterzumachen, so gut es halt geht, aber jedenfalls mit Glamour und Kreativität.

«I’m fine» was the title of a solo show by Norbert, the partner of director and performer Cezary Tomaszewski. In it, he spoke lightly and wittily about himself, life, and everyday problems. The title seems innocent until you learn that Norbert died by suicide. Thus, this «I’m fine» is now a tribute to Norbert, a processing of his death, and a call for personal and public responsibility. Despite the destigmatization of mental illness, more people still die by suicide than in traffic accidents. 80% of those who die by suicide are men. Artists are disproportionately affected.
But «I’m fine» is also a celebration of Norbert’s life and his artistic work. It is an attempt to carry on as best as possible, but certainly with glamour and creativity.

Cezarys Freund hat sich das Leben genommen. Cezary lässt ihn noch einmal aufleben. Das macht er, indem er ein Stück von ihm nochmals spielt. Gleichzeitig erzählt er von ihm.
